Emilio Parrilla e a Acoustic Band, Tribute to J. Giuffre vão estar no próximo domingo (17), para um concerto no Cantaloupe Café, nos Mercados de Olhão.
Tribute to Jimmy Giuffre
“Somehow, Jimmy Giuffre is always a reference for jazz clarinetist. And I say somehow, because his sound and musicality is so personal that it is really difficult adapt his music to my own musicality. Nevertheless there is a dimension in his music that always caught my attention. This tribute to Jimmy is a pending debt with his concept of chamber music in jazz.”
Emilio Parrilla Acoustic Band is the meeting of four great musicians and
their own way to understand the J. Giuffre’s music. The repertory is a mix with original music by band members and compositions by Giuffre.
